How do I install / use the JetShield attachment?
JetShield is designed to connect with a standard saliva ejector valve, allowing for the simultaneous evacuation of aerolsols during air polishing by combining both functions on the handpiece. Be sure to connect the disposable JetShield attachment to the smaller translucent connector on the JetShield's gray tubing, and connect the larger white connector to the saliva ejector valve. The white connector may appear to fit loosely until suction is activated. Although they are commercially available for other uses, DENTSPLY does not support, manufacture, or resell High Volume Evacuator adapters for use with standard saliva ejectors or JetShield.
